Whisk caramel syrup, collagen  into your hot coffee. Top with sugar-free whipped cream and caramel sauce. Easy peasy! This recipe is super easy to make and makes the best mid-afternoon treat when you’re starting to feel tired and want something sweet to enjoy.

Protein Coffee Nutrition

This caramel protein coffee has 13 g of protein in it! 11 g come from the two scoops of collagen peptides and 2 g from the 2 ounces of 2% milk. It is a way to add some protein to your diet.

Why have protein in your coffee?

As someone who works out a lot, I know the important of protein for muscle building and recovery. I don’t eat a lot of meat and tend to gravitate to foods with carbohydrates (which is okay of course) but need to be more mindful to make sure I’m getting enough protein into my diet. I like adding collagen into my coffee after a morning at the gym.
