Arrest made, one man remains in hospital

One gentleman was arrested Wednesday in connection with a dispute that led to a taking pictures at a James Town Shell Gas Station that morning, in accordance to a Craven County Sheriff’s Workplace news release.

The release states the Sheriff’s Business was named to the fuel station at U.S. 70 Hwy East in reference to photographs getting fired. When deputies arrived on the scene, they located a person man with various gunshot wounds and the other with a head damage from being struck with a blunt object, in accordance to the Sheriff’s Office environment.

Jason Lee Hathaway, 44, of Indiana, was charged with felony assault with a lethal weapon with intent to eliminate inflicting serious personal injury, the release states. Hathaway was arrested soon after he was treated and unveiled from European Health and fitness Clinical Heart in Greenville on Wednesday.

According to the Sheriff’s Place of work, a second taking pictures suspect, Barrett Allen Crow, 37, of New Bern, remains hospitalized below major ailment at Eu Health and fitness Clinical Heart.
