What I Packed for My Cookbook Tour

Arguably one of the most anticipated events of my entire year was our recent Fraiche Food, Fuller Hearts Cookbook Tour! Here is a roundup of everything I packed and wore on this special trip.

I didn’t imagine that the trip would be as incredible as it was. I haven’t laughed that hard in years: it was exactly what my heart needed; a trip with Jilly AND meeting so many of you in person… finally!

Now, I have to level with you. I’m a chronic over-packer, and this cookbook tour was like my NY fashion week! I honestly would rather lug around a full suitcase (or two) any-day than risk not having something I need. I’m in my forties now, I’m not changing any time soon LOL! Let’s dive in to all my travel favourites from this epic fall trip!

My Luggage

Fun fact about me is I love dressing up a bit when I travel – I’m not the sweatpants kinda gal on a plane… it just makes it feel more special to me. As you now know, I don’t travel light! My Monos Suitcase (I have the Check-In Large) holds my wardrobe (lol) and looks soooo good strutting (or sprinting, as usually is the case) through the airport. My Travel Outfits

I think I would call my travel vibe “comfortable chic.” I like to dress up a little bit and of course pair my outfit with comfy shoes.

I’m so thankful for these runners and this sweater dress which was a must-have for cooler plane rides and morning. My cream sweater dress with the tan sweater and comfy puffer bag that I wore on the first flight is linked here along with many of my other outfits!

 

My Event Outfits

I’m a sucker for any opportunity to wear a pretty dress! On this tour I wore this floor length gown from Ever New which I actually have in two other colours! I also wore this magical Floral Maxi Dress that made me feel like a goddess!

I basically lived in my Poppy Barley Esther Heels in black and pink (Jilly wore the pink): the perfect dressy comfortable heeled sandal topped with a timeless knot detail. 

 

My Beauty On-The-Go

Small but mighty! That’s what we need travel beauty to be, am I right? My skin stayed glowy and happy all trip long thanks to My Pretty Little Luxuries Kit from Pura Botanicals that launches TOMORROW!
