UofL Health sends ,000 worth of medical supplies to eastern Kentucky flood victims | News

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — UofL packed quite a few packing containers of medical materials Tuesday morning for men and women impacted by flooding in jap Kentucky.

6 pallets incorporated containers of bandages, saline answer, gloves, IV kits and extra. All of it was loaded into a semi truck headed to Whitesburg, Kentucky, to aid flood victims. 

“The mission of healthcare is to provide and this is just a single of the methods that we can do it as a community,” reported Bob VanBuskirk, vice president of source chain for UofL Health. “We are aspect of this local community and element of this condition, and of program we want to support where by we can.”

UofL Wellbeing says the load of materials is value about $15,000.

The healthcare enterprise is also donating an additional $25,000 to the Red Cross.
