A new investigate report is reiterating a call for B.C. to fully fund and put into practice psychological-health and fitness screening, evaluation and remedy for little ones and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders.
The Representative for Children and Youth (RCY), in conjunction with the Children’s Health and fitness Policy Centre (CHPC) at Simon Fraser University, unveiled the study report, “Toward Inclusion,” Wednesday (April 5), giving “robust evidence that psychological health and fitness problems are a lot higher for children with neurodevelopmental disorders this sort of as autism spectrum ailment (ASD), fetal alcohol spectrum condition (FASD), and intellectual disabilities (ID).”
This is the 2nd in a collection of RCY stories on mental well being and wellness for unique populations of small children and youth.
