A brand new all-stars version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is set to be filmed in South Africa, running in addition to the usual annual ITV programme.
And with 230 celebrities having competed across 20 series, MailOnline predicts which memorable contestants could try their luck again in the spin-off.
Viewers delighted in watching Gillian McKeith scream with terror as she faced trial after trial after trial, bringing back barely any food which led to rising tensions in the camp back in 2010.

The third series saw a record-breaking 14 million viewers watch Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona be crowned series champion, making her the show’s first Queen of the Jungle.
Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt, who started watching the show as a ten-year old girl, was named Queen of the Jungle in 2016.

The new stand alone show will run in addition to the usual annual ITV programme – which is set to return to the Australian jungle this year after two years in Wales – and is likely to air next summer.
Channel bosses have signed up Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 46, to host the show and legendary contestants from the past will compete, taking part in trials while living in camp.

A source told MailOnline: ‘The team behind I’m A Celebrity are making a brand new spin off of the hit series featuring the most loved, favourite campmates from previous years.
‘The campmates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists, and they will have a hand in their own destiny through a series of internal votes and challenges.
‘The new edition is likely to air in 2023 but before that viewers will get to enjoy the show’s much anticipated return to Australia in November.’
The spin-off won’t have any sort of public vote as in other series.
A source told MailOnline: ‘The show is still very much based in the world of I’m A Celebrity – the camp mates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists on the format.

It’s thought the new spin-off will be a slightly shorter format of two weeks instead of the usual three.
The new pre-recorded show will either air in November, if plans for filming the live series Down Under are hit by Covid restrictions, or kept back to be broadcast in early 2023.
It was recently reported that this year’s planned series in Australia will air three weeks earlier so it doesn’t clash with the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
According to reports, ITV bosses have moved the start date for the first time in the show’s history to October 30.

As a result, I’m A Celeb will finish on November 20, just before the World Cup kicks off on November 21.
The final of the most recent I’m A Celeb was watched by a TV peak audience of 7.1million viewers, with a massive 60% share of 16-34 year old viewing.
Despite the peak audience share the numbers were down on the 2020 series, which saw 12.1 million tune in for the finale – the most watched show of the year during the midst of lockdowns.
The 2021 series had been on a continuous decline throughout the week in the wake of Storm Arwen, which forced the ITV show off air for three days.
When the coronavirus pandemic struck, the show was filmed in Gwrych Castle in North Wales in 2020 and 2021 as the cast and crew were unable to travel abroad.
The most recent series suffered setbacks after Storm Arwen battered the makeshift camp with torrential rain and powerful winds, halting production for the first time in the show’s 21 year history and prompting bosses to place the cast in temporarily isolation bubbles for their own safety.
I’m A Celebrity has seen over 200 stars face hardship while living in the Australian jungle, taking on various trials and challenges to win food since its launch in 2002.
Last year saw former Emmerdale actor Danny Miller win the show while Coronation Street star Simon Gregson finished in second place and Loose Woman Frankie Bridge came third.
